THE ASIAN RUSE'S OWN CRUSADE "ICI" IN AMERICA
THE MEDICI'S BIG EZ
First the Aztecs defeat the Toltecs; to later become Texas
The Aztecs were the immigrant American people who dominated northern Mesoamerica
at the time of the Spanish conquest led by Hernan Cortés in the early 16th
century. At first they were a small, nomadic, Nahuatl-speaking aggregation or cells
of tribal Hindu ROMA (gypsy) peoples living on the margins of civilized Mesoamerica.
Sometime in the 12th century they embarked on a period of war against the Toltecs
and in the 13th century settled in the central basin of Mexico. The term Aztec, originally
associated with the migrant Mexica, is today a collective name applied to all
the aboriginal Asian-Central American peoples linked by trade, custom, religion,
and language to these founders.
Fearless warriors and pragmatic builders, the Aztecs ruthlessly created
an empire during the 15th century that was surpassed in size in the Americas
only by that of the Inca in Peru. As early texts and modern archaeology continue
to reveal, beyond the violence of their conquests and many of their religious practices,
there were other achievements: the formation of a highly specialized
and stratified society and an imperial administration; the expansion of a trading
network as well as a tribute system; the development and maintenance of a sophisticated
agricultural economy built in support of their warriors, carefully adjusted to the
land; and the cultivation of an intellectual and religious Egyptian-like outlook
that held society to be an integral part of the cosmos.
The Aztecs remain the most extensively falsely documented of all Amer-indian
civilizations at the time of European contact in the 16th century. Spanish friars,
soldiers, and historians and scholars of Hindu-Indian or mixed descent left
invaluable records of all aspects of life. These ethnohistoric sources, linked
to modern archaeological inquiries and studies of ethnologists, linguists, historians,
and art historians, portray the formation and flourishing of a complex imperial state.
AT THE TIME OF THE EUROPEAN JERUSALEM CRUSADES THESE ABORIGINALS WERE MAROONED
IN MESOAMERICA, FROM INDIA, PRIOR TO THE SPANIARDS' ARRIVAL, WITH A MANDATE TO SET
A SOUTHERN BORDER FOR A "SOON TO FLOURISH" EUROPEAN NORTH AMERICA.
Their "hegemonic" type of empire was unlike
the empires of Europe, where the primary aim of acquiring territory called for large
standing armies and strong border garrisons. The AZTECS and their allies would first
send ambassadors to persuade communities to become tributaries before threatening
to send a military expedition. If unsuccessful (not very often), these measures would
lead to forceful action and the submission of the town and its region. Local chieftains
(SATRAPS) tended to be left in command, and many would be bound through marriage
with the conquerors. The armies withdrew from conquered towns after tribute (TAXATION)
was assessed, but the threat of reprisals always remained. Rebellions were an endemic
problem, but as the allies succeeded in the Basin of Mexico and beyond, multiple
sources of tribute were secured.
Old tribal social order gave way with the development of a fabric of private
and state-controlled land and tribute (IRS) organizations that formed crisscrossing
economic and political relationships. Fascist rulers and the rising warrior elite
(31 Roma clans of "ISTAN" NATSIS originating from the region of the
Himalayn mountains) increasingly controlled the resources of a vast landscape,
enabling them to construct impressive residences, to distribute wealth within their
hierarchy, and to consolidate and expand their personal power as well as that of
their nations. A new aristocracy--a new Hindu papa "pipiltin"--was
created that also wrested political power at home from the old first immigrant tribal
communal organizations, the calpullis. During the 15th century a succession
of rulers carried out systematic programs of conquest, leading armies on campaigns
to ever more distant northern regions.
Meanwhile the spectacular ritual life of the Aztecs exerted one of the
principal integrating forces behind their economic, social, and ideological cohesion.
The organization and operations of the state were never completely temporal
and utilitarian, operated for material interest alone. The functions of government
were propelled by value systems intricately interwoven with cosmologies,
myths, and beliefs rooted in religion. The mandate to conquer and the time of war
in the dry season alternated with the season of rain and agriculture in the annual
cycle of Aztec economic activity.
KEEPERS OF THE FLAME
The composite Aztec pantheon was incorporated from diverse communities
within the imperial domains. Most, if not all, of the cults can be grouped in basic
clusters concerning natural elements and ancestor-heroes. "Smoking Mirror"
(obsidian), characterized as the most powerful, supreme deity, was associated
with the notion of destiny. "The old, old deity," was one of the
names of the cult of fire, among the oldest in Mesoamerica. The maintenance of fires
in the temples was a principal priestly duty, and the renewal of fire was identified
with the renewal of time itself. Ceramic and stone effigies of an old man
bearing a brazier on his back have been found. (See mirror image - a brassiere
on his chest)
THE COMING NEW AGE OF AQUARIUS
"Quetzal (feather) serpent," had dozens of associations. It was
the name of a deity, a royal title, the name of a legendary priest-ruler, a
title of high priestly office. But its most fundamental significance as a
natural force is symbolized by the sculpture of a coiled plumed serpent rising
from a base whose underside is carved with the symbols of the earth deity. The image
of the serpent rising from the earth and bearing water on its tail
is explained by a description of Quetzalcoatl in terms of the rise of a powerful
thunderstorm sweeping down, with wind raising coal dust before bringing
rain. (See NOVA fire and brimstone)
The warrior priests, who accompanied Aztec armies during campaigns, in
addition to their other duties captured enemies and made the appropriate sacrifices
in the field. Perhaps the most highly esteemed priests were the Roma "wise
men", learned leaders, persons of trust, teachers, and counselors,
Persian corporate pipecarriers who "light the world for one, who
know the land of the dead, who [are] dignified, unrivaled toll-gaters."
Now you know why neither Republican nor Democratic "Skull
and Boners" will ever completely close off the border with Mexico.
MEXICO IS PERSIA'S (IRAN) REGIONAL HEAD OFFICE IN AMERICA.

23 New Need-to-Know Billionaires Front For BAS Money-Power
TURKEYS AWAIT GLOBAL CLEANSING AT SEA LEVEL -- DUH! ...DUBAI BYE
Forbes Magazine
SKULL AND BONES BIRD FLU CATAPULTS TO LONDON CITY
LONDON has become the world's most appealing
refuge for the super-rich, according to research that shows that no other capital
city can rival it for attracting billionaires from elsewhere.
Other large cities, such as New York, Moscow and San Francisco, may compete
with London for resident billionaires, but their elite are homegrown.
Of the 23 billionaires in London, only 12 are British. The rest come from
countries as varied as India, Iceland and South Africa.
New York is home to 34 of the mega-rich, who are mostly American. Trailing
behind are Moscow and San Francisco, with 20 billionaires each.
Forbes, the magazine for the rich and powerful (often BRAINDEAD), believes
that London's appeal lies in its accessibility, stability and low taxation and the
global standing of City institutions.
Forbes.com's Paul Maidment said: "Many cities vie for the title of
the world's capital, but London still attracts the elite of the world's rich and
successful. And it can lay claim unchallenged to one title: it is the magnet for
the world's billionaires."
At the top of the sima-sial London list is Lakshmi Mittal, the world's
fifth-richest person, according to Forbes's league table of the global elite. The
Indian steel mogul has an estimated $US 23.5 billion ($30.3 billion) at his disposal.
He is ahead of Roman Abramovich, the Russian Roma owner of Chelsea
Football Club, who is the world's 11th-richest person, with a fortune estimated at
$US 18.2 billion.
In third place are Leonard Blavatnik, the Russian-American oil magnate,
and Charlene de Carvalho-Heineken, a Dutch heiress to the Heineken beer fortune.
Only then does the first British billionaire make an appearance; David
Reuben, who - with his brother Simon, who lives elsewhere (smart boy) - has a net
worth of $US 3.6 billion. They rank 185th on the list. Both were raised in Britain,
but born in Bombay (Mumbay).
Mr Maidment said: "Billionaires are, by nature, a "peripatetic lot".
They can afford to own property on many continents, and do. Their business interests
and their investments are global. (Pathetic toll-gaters is more like it)
"Their money travels the world as much as they do. On any day of the
year, they are as likely to be in London or New York or Shanghai or Monaco. In every
sense, they are citizens of no country but the self-contained universe of the super
wealthy. Yet they do have to have the occasional points of contact with the rest
of the world. London offers them a welcoming ecosystem."
Other billionaire expats in the capital are Philippe Foriel-Destezet, the
Frenchman who founded the Adecco temp agency (see empty quarter KEMP COAST of Antarctica),
and South African property developer Donald Gordon.
Also in London is Iceland's first billionaire, Bjorgolfur Thor Bjorgolfsson.
NO NEED TO ROB PETER TO PAY PAUL
"Low taxation is a big attraction. It is not stretching a point too
far to say that for the super-rich, London is a tax haven," Mr Maidment said.
"The UK's tax laws contain provisions that enable non-British-born individuals
who live in London for some but not all the time to be taxed only on their UK earnings."
London was not just a good place to do business, Mr Maidment said. It also
boasted a luxury industry designed to cater for every whim of the wealthy.
"There are elegant shops, luxurious private clubs and good schools for the
children, all expensive enough to keep the riff-raff at bay,"
he said.

Citizen Hurri Cain's American Ma
HEARST DROVE THE ASIAN RUSE'S CAMPANIAN
HEARSE
One of the most controversial figures in modern American journalism, William
Randolph Hearst, b. San Francisco, Apr. 29, 1863, d. Aug. 14, 1951, built a chain
of newspapers that at its peak in 1937 included 25 dailies and 11 Sunday editions
in 19 cities. His career was the basis of Orson Welles's film classic Citizen Kane
(1941).
Hearst, a mama's boy, was the only child of George and Phoebe Hearst. George
Hearst, a mining magnate and a U.S. senator, bought the San Francisco Examiner in
1880. After being expelled from Harvard University, young Hearst assumed (1887) the
position of editor at his father's newspaper. He hired a talented staff and challenged
the established Chronicle for circulation, employing the sensation-seeking techniques
that later marked his New York enterprises. By 1893 the Examiner surpassed the Chronicle,
and in 1895, Hearst moved to New York City, where he purchased the failing Morning
Journal (Mu).
Hearst immediately began the intense competition with Joseph Pulitzer's
New York World that characterized the trend in journalism of the 1890s known as yellow
journalism. Reportedly originating from the "Yellow Kid" cartoon drawn
by Richard Felton Outcault, yellow journalism came to stand for wildly sensationalistic
journalism, featuring big headlines and stories that strained the limits of credibility.
(Also see CNN's Yellow SubMarines in the US Congress and Senate and Michael
Ware their so-called "reporter" in Baghdad)
ASIAN CANDLE HOLDER FOR THE AMERICAN EMPIRE
The highlight of the Hearst-Pulitzer feud was their respective coverage
of the Spanish-American War. Pulitzer began to back away from yellow journalism,
but Hearst continued to use such tactics for many years to come. (Also see
the CNN "Wolf Blitzer-Jack Cafferty-Lou Dobbs" manufacturing consent trio)
While Pulitzer supported the use of force in Cuba, as did Hearst, he did not favor
the annexation of the Philippine Islands, an act strongly supported by Hearst. Of
all of the true-lies stories surrounding Hearst the most popular is that
he was responsible for starting the Spanish-American War. In actuality Hearst
was only one of many influential Americans who felt the need to push the
nation into competition with the British, French, and Germans for overseas bases.
(Now, also see who, in Asia, currently finances the American debt-balance of payments)
FABRICATING YELLOW CONSENT
The Hearst papers in New York appeared every morning, evening (like Venus),
and Sunday. In 1901 the Morning Journal was renamed the American (Ma). In Chicago
the evening American appeared in 1900 and the morning Examiner in 1902. The morning
Los Angeles Examiner was begun in 1903, competing with the Los Angeles Times. In
Boston the evening American began publishing in 1904. Hearst also owned the King
Feature syndicate, the American Weekly newspaper supplement, and a number of magazines,
radio stations, and motion picture companies; in 1909 he fronted the (IRS-INS) International
News Service.
Early in his career Hearst had been an advocate of such "step-by-step"
supposedly "progressive" proposals as the popular election of senators
and a graduated income tax. He reportedly fought the power of railroads and utilities
and supposedly used his newspapers for the betterment of the common man as he moved
the Skull and Bones agenda forward. He served (1903-07) briefly in the U.S. House
of Representatives and was a strong contender for the Democratic presidential nomination
in 1904. Long a public opponent of the Democrats Tammany Hall, he made a deal with
that organization and ran for governor of New York with its backing in 1908. His
defeat finally dashed his personal political ambitions.
MEDIA CONTROLLING THE 8% SWING VOTE
Later, "as a true Asian ruse polarizer", Hearst became deeply
conservative and an outspoken opponent of the New Deal policies of Franklin Delano
Roosevelt, the candidate he had so strenuously supported in 1932. In 1947, Hearst
left his San Simeon mansion and retired to Beverly Hills with the actress Marion
Davies, his mistress for over 30 years. His son, William Randolph Hearst, Jr., took
over as editor in chief of the papers at his father's death.

San Juan Capistrano's Purple Martins
GRAVES' GRAND DRANO DESIGN
Martin is the common name for several birds of the swallow family, Hirundinidae.
(aka : HP, the Huron-Phoenicians)
The purple martin, Progne subis, is the largest North American swallow
(20 cm/8 in); the male is blue black over its entire body, the female dingy gray
on the underside. Feeding on the wing, martins destroy great numbers of insect pests,
and for centuries humans have sought to lure them to yards and gardens. A popular
practice to attract the birds is to erect multicompartmented (condos)
structures, which the gregarious martins accept as a substitute for tree
cavities, their usual nesting sites.
The purple martin nests across the continent from southern Canada to Mexico
and winters in South America.

San Juan Capistrano, a small city (2000 pop., 33,826) in southwestern California,
is located 81 km (50 mi) southeast of Los Angeles between the Santa Ana Mountains
in the east and the Pacific Coast on the west. Founded in 1776, it
grew up as a farming community around the Spanish mission of the same name, which
honors Saint John of Capistrano (1385-1456), an Italian theologian
....and crusader. The mission of San Juan Capistrano, constructed in 1797-1806,
was badly damaged by an earthquake in 1812; its adobe Serra Chapel
(named for the mission founder Father Junipero Serra) is the oldest
building in California and is presently being used by clergy of the Los Angeles diocese.
An unusual phenomenon at the mission was first recorded
in 1777. Every year, on Saint Joseph's Day (March 19), swallows arrive there,
having flown 9,700 km (6,000 mi) from Goya, Argentina, to nest and
rear their young; they leave again on October 23. The arrival of the swallows
is celebrated by the Fiesta de las Golondrinas.
The old Santa Fe Railroad Station (1895) has been restored and serves as

Costa Mesa (2000 pop., 108,724) is a residential
and industrial city in Orange County in southern California about 60
km (37 mi) southeast of Los Angeles. Located on the Pacific Ocean coast at the mouth
of the drained Santa Ana River. Of historic interest is the Estancia
Adobe, a structure originally built for cattle herdsmen in the area
but now a museum and memorial to early settlers.
Once grazing ground for cattle belonging to the San Juan Capistrano mission,
Costa Mesa was the site of an estancia (the way station) established
in the early 19th century for herdsmen. In the 1880s settlers established the town
of Fairview. After a disastrous storm in 1889 the town soon reverted
to farm country. A few years later the agricultural community of Harper
was established, and in 1920 it was renamed Costa Mesa. In 1933 the
town suffered another disaster when it was struck by an earthquake. During World
War II an important army air base was located there. Costa Mesa was incorporated
as a city in 1953.

AVALON : EARTH, A
SECOND SUN NOVA ?
As above, so below
TUCSON, PUT YOUR TUQUES ON - YOU'RE
GOING TO CANADA
A nova is a variable star whose luminosity suddenly increases by a factor
of thousands or tens of thousands. Although the term nova means "new star,"
novas are actually long-existing stars that suddenly flare into brilliance
as seen in the Earth's sky. Novas are celestial phenomena distinct from supernovas,
which are in fact destructive explosions of massive stars. Therefore supernovas,
unlike novas, do not recur, because the stellar material has been dispersed by the
explosion.
The sudden brightness of a nova occurs when a star's surface suddenly explodes,
rapidly discharging an expanding shell of gas into space. Though the observed discharge
appears spectacular, the star is not destroyed by its outburst. In
fact, some novas are recurrent. Only a tiny fraction--perhaps one ten-millionth--of
the star's entire mass is lost. Peak brightness tends to occur within 10 to 50 hours.
Following a brief peak period, the nova begins to fade, reaching its original luminosity
days, months, or perhaps years later. A transition stage early in the fading
period is common. During this transition the luminosity may fluctuate between
several different levels, drop sharply and then quickly recover, or simply decline
gradually and evenly. Fading after the transition stage is characteristically gradual
and slow.
Current theories suggest that most novas are members of a binary star system
containing a white dwarf star and a red main sequence star. Material pulled from
the main-sequence star becomes hotter as it approaches the white dwarf, until hydrogen
fusion explosively releases energy.
SESAME SEESAW IS MYSTIC AVALON
Major episodes of mountain building, produced by collision of Earth's tectonic
plates, occurred during the Grenville Orogeny, which began about 1.1
billion years ago and again in the Avalonian Orogeny about 600 million
years ago. Large meteorites and asteroids continued to hit the Earth's surface, although
perhaps less frequently than before.
At least four episodes of widespread glaciation occurred during the Proterozoic,
the first 2.3 billion years ago, as recorded in parts of North America and Africa,
and others 875, 740, and 610 million years ago.

TWELVE AROUND ONE BRAHMAN

Abraham's Clan Pulls Wool Over Your Eyes
HI.LO WISDOM
The unexamined life is not worth living
Philosophy is reportedly the oldest form of systematic, scholarly inquiry.
The name comes from the Greek philosïphos, "lover of wisdom."
The term, however, has acquired several related meanings: (1) the study
of the (Hindu-Persian ruse) truths of the principles underlying all modern knowledge,
the bing-being-boeing plan, and Segolene Royal (yale
locks on your EGO) reality; (2) a particular system of p.hilo.sophi.ca.l doctrine;
(3) the less than critical evaluation of such fundamental doctrines;
(4) the controlled study of the principles of a particular branch of
knowledge; (5) a Greek system of ruse principles for misguidance in
practical affairs; and (6) a philosophical spirit or drunken attitude.
All of these meanings of philosophy are recognizable in the misleading
intellectual traditions of ancient India, China, Persia, Egypt and Greece.
The pre-Socratics (see pre-Socratic philosophy) sought to find fundamental, natural
principles that could explain what individuals know and experience about
the wacky world around them. The same pre-Socratics and, later, Plato and Aristotle
tried to develop a comprehensive 8.0 set of
principles that would account for their limited knowledge of both the
natural and the human world. In developing philosophies these early thinkers saw
that their reflections could be used as a means of criticizing and
often refuting popularly accepted mythological views as well as the conventional
thoughts of their predecessors and contemporaries.
Socrates, at his trial in Athens, stated a basic philosophical premise,
that "the unexamined life was not worth living." By this
he meant that if people do not examine and critically evaluate the principles by
which they live, they cannot be sure that worthwhile principles exist.
As the Greek thinkers codified their bobblehead pictures
of the world, they saw that for each science or study of some aspect of the world
there could be a corresponding philosophy of this science or study, such as the philosophies
of science, art, history, and so on. Each of these involves examining the fundamental
principles of a discipline to see if they are logical, consistent, and--most
important--true to the Hindu-Persian ROMA ruse.

INCREDIBLE INDIA "AVE" (new way virgin birth)
Bhubaneswar, from 1948 the capital of Orissa state, east central
India, has been developed since then into a model township and administrative center.
Historically it was an important religious center noted for its Hindu temples
that once numbered in the thousands and of which fewer than a hundred remain.
The oldest among them, dedicated to Par-ashura-meshvara,
was built c.750. The Lingaraj, completed c.1000, is dedicated to Shiva
Tribhuvaneshvar, "Lord of the Three Worlds," who is enshrined in
the sanctum as a gigantic phallic column (lingam) and is the source, in this
manifestation, of the name of the royal city.
The Hindu temples of Bhubaneswar are built of fine-cut stone and are closed
over by corbeled vaults. The outer surfaces are often richly and delicately carved,
with a splendid sense of proportion. Although they exhibit a variety of architectural
effects, the temples are all organized around the simple relationship between
a low, broad pavilion and a high tower, which rises directly over the icon
in the innermost sanctum. Ancient Orissan architectural texts, which give precise
directions for the design and construction of temples, designate the towers
as mountains, as though to underscore the conception of them as replicas
of those natural heights of cone volcanoes where the great gods of
the Hindus were believed to dwell eternally.

Politics is a rigged game
Voting steals your personal unit of political power which is your only
real 'personal' estate.
Don't give politicians the credibility which is implied by your participation
in elections.
Government of the people and by the people is still needed, and it would
be a really great idea were it ever allowed to happen.
Currently, candidates for election, in order to win, place, or show, always
need support from the international conglomerate Monk~Media in one way or another.
They, the international conglomerate Monk~Media, are the Talking Mules
of the middle-Eastern Persian Shi'a who are, and always have been, your sworn mortal
enemies.
International conglomerate Hindu-Persian Monk~Media fabricate your perceptions
and thereby your opinions (EGO).
Those induced perceptions and opinions are wrong about almost everything.
The whole world really is a stage and this ongoing play called life is
slow-motion suicide by cruci-fiction.
Stop voting, tell your friends
why, and get a real life.
Then, also stop wanting and needing "things", because only then
can you start caring; first about yourself, and maybe later, about others who deserve
it.
Once that happens you can no longer be treated simply as a human Boeing;
a bobblehead slave operating on auto-pilot; one who even does his/her own shopping.

Monday-Monday's Plan B Fore Secondary Immunity
JANE FONDA'S MONDALE HONDA IS ON THE MOVE
People on the mountain, they of the Great Rocks, are assembling in the
Adirondack Mountains to listen to the Canadian novelist, poet, editor, and filmmaker
Michael Ondaatje, b. Colombo, Ceylon (now Sri Lanka) read Eliot's "Daniel
Deronda".

India's Mogul Empire (see John Kerry)
OPEN SESAME SEESAW : Maria Teresa Heinz-Kerry
The title character, reared as a Christian, is inspired by Mordecai, a
Judean mentor, who prophesies that Deronda will be a leader of the
Jews. He also falls in love with Mordecai's sister Mirah, a
singer.
Coincidentally, Deronda discovers that his mother is Judean (and also a
singer), a revelation that allows his marriage to Mirah and validates his intention
of becoming a leader of this people. However, Deronda's mission is finally
perceived to be more internal than external. He must learn to be his own
master before he can lead others.
The Israel he seeks is as emblematic of self-reconciliation as it is of
reconciliation among men.
His counterpart is Gwendolen Harleth, a troubled
woman, who falls in love with Daniel in the course of appropriating him as a spiritual
guide. While Deronda's quest is in the religious realm, Gwendolen's is more personal
and humanistic. Her unhappy union, to a dissipated aristocrat with a mistress
who has borne him children, undermines the institution of marriage, in a
way familiar to readers of Eliot. In addition to the themes of identity and community,
the novel explores the concept of artistic dedication in Robert's Rules of
Bobblehead Order.

JOSEPH OF ARIMETHEA'S PIC-a-NIC (112)
In the New Testament allegory, Joseph of Arimathea reportedly was a rich,
devout member of the Sanhedrin who would not consent to that body's
decision to put Jesus Christ to death (Matt. 27:57; Mark 15:43; Luke 23:50, 51).
After the crucifixion of Jesus, Joseph asked the Roman procurator Pontius
Pilate for Jesus' body and, with the "GIGI"
assistance of Nicodemus, buried the body in a garden tomb near Golgotha
(John 19:38-42; Matt. 25:57-60).
Joseph became a popular figure in apocalyptic literature. Medieval legends
connect Joseph with the Holy Grail of Genetic Engineering and with Glastonbury, England,
where his staff was believed to have taken root and grown into a thorn tree that
flowered every Christmas Eve.
The Holy Grail, a symbolic talisman around which numerous medieval legends
and poems revolve, originated in SESAME SEESAW Celtic pagan tradition of the
Genie in a bottle but later became associated with the cup used at the Last
Supper, in which Joseph of Arimathea gathered (DNA) blood from Christ's wounds.
THE HOLY GRAIL SAVED DAVOS
The Grail was sought by the knights of King Arthur in several medieval
romances, the earliest of which was the late-12th-century Perceval by Chrétien
de Troyes. The quest for the Grail, which can only be found by a hero free from personal
sin, is treated at great length in the Morte Darthur (c.1469) of Sir Thomas Malory
and in Wolfram von Eschenbach's epic, Parzifal (c.1210), which inspired Richard Wagner's
opera Parsifal (1877-82).
In the Bible, Nicodemus, a Pharisee "IRS" journalist and member
of the ruling council of Sanhedrin, appears only in the Gospel of John.
He arrives at night to question Jesus about teachings he cannot overstand
(John 3), he defends Jesus when others in the Sanhedrin want to arrest him (7:50-52),
and he accompanies Joseph of Arimathea to claim the body of Jesus after
the cruci fiction and prepare it for burial (19:39).
Scholars suggest that Nicodemus represents wealthy, educated Judeans
who were well-disposed toward Jesus but unprepared to acknowledge him as the #10
Christ of the IRS.
Glastonbury is a historic town in Somerset, southwestern
England. Situated at the foot of Glastonbury Tor, a prominent hill, the town has
a population of 6,751 (1991). Its history reaches back to the early years
of the Christian era and, at several points, is mixed with legend. It has been named
as the site of England's first Christian church, reputedly founded
by Joseph of Arimathea. Earlier, it supposedly was a center sacred to the druids.
The tales of King Arthur, too, figure in Glastonbury's legendary history, and the
town is identified with the Arthurian Isle of Avalon.
It is known that the Benedictine Abbey of St. Mary, reputed to be the oldest
in the country, was located in Glastonbury. Its founding date is also legendary,
but in the Middle Ages it became one of the most prosperous and learned monasteries
in England, a favorite site for pilgrimages, and a noted burial place for
kings (including, reputedly, King Arthur) and religious luminaries. Almost
destroyed by fire in 1184, it was in a nearly constant state of rebuilding
until the 16th century, when it fell into disuse. Some ruins of the abbey and its
chapel remain in the town.
Also of interest nearby is the so-called Glastonbury lake village, a well-preserved
Iron Age settlement dating to the 3d century BC that was first excavated
in 1892. Today, Glastonbury's economy is largely supported by tourists, visiting
the old town and the even older nearby settlement.

SPIRITUALITY IS COMPULSIVE BEHAVIOUR
Don't trade one addiction for another
WHEN YOU CAN GET TURNED ON BY REALITY
Some people are addicted to food. To relieve their problem they often undergo
stomach bypass only to discover that they then trade food for booze. Then booze is
replaced by religion or spirituality. All three addictions are compulsive behaviours.
Food makes you fat; alcohol gets you drunk, and; spirituality or religion will transubstantiate
you into a bobblehead.
Unless you're a monarch butterfly or a homing pigeon you can do with the
least amount of compulsive behaviour possible.
Why not latch on to reality instead?
It's the greatest show on Earth and you get to be on the stage instead of in the
audience, or just standing in line at the door.
You can't escape it, so why not join it.
If you really want to overstand, not simply understand, how the media is
fooling you daily please reserve your weeklong CIPI seminar-workshop with Glen Kealey
today.
Make your call for a reservation before Easter Monday now.

76 TROMBONES LED THE MUSIC MA'S PARADE
Volcanoes are "MOTHER" Nature's "PIPE" Organ
CALIFORNIA EAR E GO MUSE RUSE
Lords of the Ring of Fire : The area along the edges of the Pacific Ocean,
where a huge plate of Earth's crust is sliding under other plates, is called the
Ring of Fire because many active volcanoes are found connected along it.
Shasta Has'ta
With their gushing fountains of lava and gas, volcanoes transform the surface
of the Earth. They cover land with their molten flow and build islands
and mountains. Volcanic mountains usually are cone-shaped (like a Christmas tree);
at the top is a cup-shaped depression known as a crater. Within the crater and elsewhere
on a volcano are vents, or openings, through which molten rock called magma erupts.
Heat within the Earth causes magma to rise to the surface, and escaping gases provide
the driving force for volcanic eruptions and earthquakes. Once magma
reaches the surface, it is called lava. There are various types of lava. Some are
thick and slow-moving (SIMA) while others are fluid and fast-moving (SIAL).
As lava cools and becomes solid it forms igneous rock. Other kinds of igneous rock,
including granites, are formed by magma that cools within the Earth (BASALT),
without ever reaching the surface. Most volcanoes are located near the edges of continents,
where huge blocks, or plates, of the Earth's crust are moving together or apart.
Because volcanoes can be extremely destructive, scientists monitor them, watching
for any activity (76) that may signal an impending eruption.
Venus lost her Arms
The composition of the surface of Venus has been measured at several landing
sites. Thus Venera 8 detected a composition similar to granitic rocks of Earth's
continents, along with the presence of radioactive isotopes of uranium, thorium,
and potassium. Venera 9 and Venera 10 found basaltic-type rock compositions at two
other sites. Basalt is a volcanic rock that occurs on Earth in the
ocean basins and at Hawaiian-type volcanoes, as well as in the smoother areas of
the Moon that are known as mares, or "seas." Venera 13 and Venera 14 also
measured the electrical conductivity of Venus rocks, drilled holes to retrieve material
from deeper surface layers, and scooped up samples of the soil. These probes again
detected Earth-like basaltic compositions.
On Mars (RAMS - ARMS) the intermediate, or Hesperian (arian sheep),
period of Martian history saw great changes in the landscape, even though bombardment
of the surface had declined rapidly and the atmosphere had thinned and become
less effective as an erosional agent. First, extensive fields of very fluid lava
flows were emplaced over a third of the planet. Most flows originated from
fissures, but a few are associated with broad, low, circular volcanic centers. The
flanks of some of these volcanoes are eroded, indicating explosive volcanic activity
and fluid erosion triggered by interactions between magma and groundwater.
As loss of internal heat caused the planet's surface to contract, buckling
of the rocks formed long, low ridges on the solidified lava flows.
Meanwhile, the Tharsis grew to much of its present
great size, producing extensive systems of faults that span an entire hemisphere
of the planet. Distinctive, tongue-shaped lava flows from the Tharsis volcanoes covered
millions of square kilometers of the rise. The deeper, linear canyons of
Valles Marineris developed as a result of rifting that originated in the Martian
mantle. These canyons are some of the major source areas for immense channel systems
that extend for thousands of kilometers across a highland region that makes up about
10% of the Martian surface. The channels were conceivably formed by catastrophic
outbursts of millions of cubic kilometers of water, ice, and debris, released from
artesian aquifers trapped by ice-rich rocks. Most channels originated from
jumbled, blocky terrain produced by collapse of the ground that formerly
contained the discharged debris and water. At the terminus of the channels in the
northern plains, expanses of sediments were deposited in temporary lakes that ultimately
sublimated and disappeared.

Snakes lack external ear openings, eardrums, and
middle-ear cavities. The small, sound-conducting columella bone, however, is still
present. In other reptiles the columella is positioned between the inner ear and
the eardrum, but in snakes it is situated between the inner ear and the jaw hinge
(quadrate bone). When the snake's head is on the ground, earthborne sounds or vibrations
are picked up by the lower jaw and skull and are transmitted by bone conduction to
the columella and through the columella to the inner ear. Snakes therefore
can readily detect earthborne sounds.
The lack of eardrums and middle-ear cavities implies that snakes cannot
hear airborne sounds. Certain experiments, however, have shown that the snake's inner
ear does respond to low-frequency airborne vibrations (sounds), particularly at about
300 Hz, which may reach the inner ear by bone conduction. Snakes also
have specialized nerve endings in the skin that function as vibration detectors,
and the same experiments indicated that these receptors are able to detect
low-frequency airborne sounds at vibrations up to about 1,000 Hz.
