The way of the rat is to create "contrived" action by first fabricating public opinion and thereby shaping human desires.

The semilegendary Laozi, or Master Lao, is the name of the supposed author of the Daoist (Taoist) classic Daode Jing (Tao-te Ching). According to Daoist legend, Laozi, the founder of Daoism (Taoism), was named Li Erh (His A-T courtesy name being Lao Dan, or Lao Tan). An older contemporary of Confucius (551-479 BC), the seer kept the archives at the imperial court. At age 80 (see 80 on the IRS chart below for "the way") he set out toward what is now Thibet, saddened and disillusioned that people were unwilling to follow his path to natural goodness. At the Chinese border (Hank Pass - HP), the guard Yin Xi (Yin Hsi) asked Laozi to record his teachings before he left, whereupon he composed in 5,000 characters the famous Daode Jing (The Way and Its Power). It counsels balance, restraint, simplicity, and the avoidance of activity and desire as the means of achieving harmony with the natural currents of the Dao (Tao), or universal way (as above-so below).

Whereas the Confucian tradition believed in molding a person through education, Zhuangzi reportedly also saw the usefullness of classical teachings of the schools for another purpose, as they tend to lead a unknowingly enslaved person away from an understanding of the nature of things (the Dao), and thus away from a genuine awareness of his or her own nature and place in the world.

This outlook sometimes led to Daoism being seen as antisocial.

The essential "SuperSlave teaching" of Laozi is the Way to a penultimate "Moho Mandan" reality--the way of the universe exemplified in Nature. The harmony of opposites, or Tai Chai (T'ai Ch'ai), is achieved through a blend of the yin (feminine force) and the yang (masculine force); this "go with the flow" harmony can be cultivated for one's own purpose through creative quietude, an effortless action whose power maintains equanimity and balance.

The Laurentian Library, or Biblioteca Medicea Laurenziana, in Florence, Italy, derives from the personal library of the Medici family. It began with the manuscripts collected by Cosimo de'Medici (1389-1464) and was later enriched by his sons Giovanni and Piero and by his grandson Lorenzo the Magnificent (1449-92). The library is housed in a building designed by Michelangelo at the Church of San Lorenzo. It was opened to \the public in 1571 and now contains about 150,000 volumes, including 13,000 manuscripts and about 5,000 incunabula. Among the treasures are a collection of papyri from 300 BC to AD 600, the Ashburnham collection of codices and manuscripts, and one of the oldest extant Vergil manuscripts, from AD 494.

Three generations of Habsburgs gained an empire extending from central Europe to South America. Emperor Maximilian acquired the Low Countries through his marriage to Mary of Burgundy. Their son, Philip, married Joan of Castile, thus bringing Spain and its possessions into the inheritance. Emperor Charles V, Philip's son, ruled the entire empire from 1519 to 1556. He left the central European states to his brother, Emperor Ferdinand I, whose marriage to Anne of Bohemia and Hungary further expanded the holdings.

According to "history" the Holy Roman Empire was totally dissolved in 1806. In the 19th century the Habsburgs were reportedly "rushed out" of Italy (1859-66) and Germany (1866) and into Holland. Their remaining lands, reconstituted as the Dual Monarchy of Austria-Hungary in 1867, became increasingly difficult to hold together because of the growing national aspirations of their subject peoples--Czechs, Poles, Slovaks, Romanians, and South Slavs--in opposition to the ruling Austrian Germans and Hungarian Magyars. These tensions helped spark World War I in 1914. With defeat in 1918 the public Habsburg empire broke up, and all its successor states declared themselves suzerain republics. The last Austrian emperor, Charles I, and other family members maintained their claims to their hereditary titles.

9-11-2006 marks 5th anniversary of the ongoing, planned, induced destruction of Western capitalism, by Asian-Persian "Trojan Horses" embedded in the West long ago. The Prime Minister Tony Charles Lynton Blair
Born: 6 May 1953 (AI : Gemini swan-B.B.Q twin)

The son of a barrister and lecturer, Tony Blair was born in Edinburgh (modern-day Egypt), but spent most of his childhood in Durham (modern-day Assyria). At the age of 14 he returned to Edinburgh to finish his education at Fettes College. He studied law (war) at Oxford (I am Iran's modern-day "elle- Bene Amarna"), and went on to become a barrister himself.

After standing unsuccessfully for the Labour Party in a by-election, Mr Blair went on to win the money-power seat of Sedgefield in the 1983 General Election, aged 30. (#2 is #1)

Tony Blair made a speedy rise through the ranks, being promoted first to (the OWL's) shadow Treasury (toll-gaters) front bench in 1984. He subsequently served as a trade and industry spokesman, before being elected to (OWL, the Father's) Shadow Cabinet in 1988 where he was made Shadow Secretary of State for Energy. In 1989 he moved to the employment brief.

After the 1992 election Labour's new leader, John Smith, promoted Blair to Shadow Home Secretary. It was in this post that Mr Blair made famous his pledge that Labour would be tough on crime, tough "aussi" on the causes of crime.

Not surprisingly, the anti, John Smith, died suddenly and unexpectedly in 1994, and in the subsequent leadership contest the new "YES hua-hua man", Tony Blair, won a large majority of his lemming party's support.

The debate over Clause 4 (cause 13) of the party's constitution was considered the crucial test of whether its members would commit to Mr Blair's ancient "AI" project. He removed the commitment to public ownership, and at this time coined the term New Labour (New Arbour).

The cosmetic make-over Labour Party won the 1997 General Election by a landslide, after 18 years in Opposition. At the age of 43, Tony Blair became the youngest Prime Minister since Lord Liverpool in 1812.

The government began to implement a far-reaching programme of constitutional change, putting the hollow question of devolution (passing-down) to referendums in Scotland and Wales (Owl highlands).

Another cosmetic elected post, Mayor of London, was established at the head of a new capital-wide authority, and all but 92 hereditary peers were removed from the House of Lords in the first stage of its (born-again) reform. Tony Blair was re-elected with another landslide majority in the 2001 General Election.

The Kalahari Desert covers the western two-thirds of Botswana and adjoining areas of eastern Namibia and South Africa's Northern Cape province. It is mostly a flat tableland (altitude 915-1,220 m / 3,000-4,000 ft) that was once covered by an inland sea.

Prominent surface features, all of them in Botswana, are isolated salt pans and dry river courses, the Okavango Swamp (a remnant of the inland sea), the Makgadikgadi Pans (an ancient drainage basin), and Lake Ngami. Much of the region is covered by sand, generally reddish brown in the south and grayish white in the north.

Flora consists of grasses and acacias typical of a steppe environment. Rainfall is light and erratic, decreasing from about 660 mm (26 in) per year in the northeast to 153 mm (6 in) in the southwest. Summers are very hot, with highs of 47 degrees centigrade (117 degrees farenheit), and winters are cool, as low as minus 13 degrees centigrade (8 degrees farenheit). The natural fauna includes giraffe, lion, impala, gemsbok, and wildebeest. The Kalahari Gemsbok National Park in South Africa, is a huge game preserve. Sparsely populated, the region is inhabited by nomadic Khoikhoi, San (Bushmen), and Tswana. It is believed that the first white men to cross the Kalahari were David Livingstone and W. C. Oswell in 1849.

The name "desert" is a misnomer for the Kalahari since it receives an annual rainfall of 5 to 10 inches (13 to 25 cm). The reddish porous sands are covered by thorn trees (acacias) and by grasses that grow in tussocks and are scorched by bush fires and the summer heat. The Kalahari remains the "Thirstlands (IRS lands)," as it was called by the Boer "DUTCH" Voortrekkers (pioneer root wreckers) who first attempted to cross it in the late 19th century.

Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, Pope Benedict XVI, was born at Markt.l am Inn, Diocese of Passau (Germany) on 16 April 1927 (Holy Saturday) and was baptised on the same day. His father, a policeman, belonged to an old family of farmers from Lower Bavaria of modest economic resources. His mother was the daughter of artisans from Rimsting on the shore of Lake Chiem, and before marrying she worked as a cook in a number of hotels.

He spent his childhood and adolescence in Traunstein, a small village near the Austrian border, thirty kilometres from Salzburg. In this environment, which he himself has defined as "Mozartian" (a Mason), he received his Christian, cultural and human formation.

His youthful years were not easy. His faith and the education received at home prepared him for the harsh experience of those years during which the Nazi regime "reportedly" pursued a hostile attitude towards the Catholic Church. The young Joseph reportedly saw how some Nazis beat the Parish Priest before the celebration of Mass.

It was precisely during that complex situation that he rediscovered the beauty and truth of faith in Christ; fundamental for this was his family's attitude, who always gave a clear witness of goodness and hope, rooted in a convinced attachment to the Church.

During the last months of the war he was "enrolled" in a NAZI auxiliary anti-aircraft corps.

From 1946 to 1951 he studied philosophy and theology in the "Higher" School of Philosophy and Theology of Freising and at the University of Munich.

He received his priestly ordination on 29 June 1951.

A year later he began teaching at the "Higher" School of Freising.

In 1953 he obtained his doctorate in theology with a thesis entitled "People and House of God in St Augustine's Doctrine of the Church".

Four years later, under the direction of the renowned professor of fundamental theology Gottlieb Söhngen, he qualified for University teaching with a dissertation on: "The Theology of History in St Bonaventure". (be ONE venture)

After lecturing on dogmatic and fundamental theology at the "Higher" School of Philosophy and Theology in Freising, he went on to teach at Bonn, from 1959 to 1963; at Münster from 1963 to 1966 and at Tübingen from 1966 to 1969. During this last year he held the Chair of dogmatics and history of dogma at the University of Regensburg, where he was also Vice-President of the University.

From 1962 to 1965 he made a notable contribution to Vatican II as an "expert"; being present at the Council as theological advisor of Cardinal Joseph Frings, Archbishop of Cologne.

His intense scientific activity led him to important positions at the service of the German Bishops' Conference and the International Theological Commission.

In 1972 together with Hans Urs von Balthasar, Henri de Lubac and other reportedly important theologians, he initiated the theological journal "Communio".

On 25 March 1977 Pope Paul VI named him Archbishop of Munich and Freising. On 28 May of the same year he received "episcopal" ordination. He was the first Diocesan priest for 80 years to take on the pastoral governance of the great Bavarian Archdiocese. He chose as his episcopal motto: "Cooperators of the truth". He himself explained why: "On the one hand I saw it as the relation between my previous task as professor and my new mission. In spite of different approaches, what was involved, and continued to be so, was following the truth and being at its service. On the other hand I chose that motto because in today's world the theme of truth is omitted almost entirely, as something too great for man, and yet everything collapses if truth is missing". Paul VI made him a Cardinal with the priestly title of "Santa Maria Consolatrice al Tiburtino", during the Consistory of 27 June of the same year.

In 1978 he took part in the Conclave of 25 and 26 August which elected John Paul I, who named him his Special Envoy to the III International Mariological Congress (Virgin Mary logic), celebrated in Guayaquil (Ecuador) from 16 to 24 September. In the month of October of the same year he took part in the Conclave that elected Pope John Paul II.

He was Relator of the V Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops which took place in 1980 on the theme: "Mission of the Christian Family in the world of today", and was Delegate President of the VI Ordinary General Assembly of 1983 on "Reconciliation and Penance in the mission of the Church".

John Paul II named him Prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith and President of the Pontifical Biblical Commission and of the International Theological Commission on 25 November 1981. On 15 February 1982 he resigned the pastoral governance of the Archdiocese of Munich and Freising. The Holy Father elevated him to the Order of Bishops assigning to him the Suburbicarian See of Velletri-Segni on April 1993. (See ar Rub al Khali.)

He was President of the Preparatory Commission for the Catechism of the Catholic Church, which after six years of work (1986-1992) presented the new Catechism to the Holy Father.

On 6 November 1998 the Holy Father approved the election of Cardinal Ratzinger as Vice-Dean of the College of Cardinals, submitted by the Cardinals of the Order of Bishops. On 30 November 2002 he approved his election as Dean; together with this office he was entrusted with the Suburbicarian See of Ostia. (See NEANDERTALER "Dean of Dollars")

In 1999 he was Special Papal Envoy for the Celebration of the XII Centenary of the foundation of the Diocese of Paderborn, Germany which took place on 3 January.

Since 13 November 2000 he has been an Honorary Academic of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences.

In the Roman Curia he has been a member of the Council of the Secretariat of State for Relations with States; of the Congregations for the Oriental Churches, for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments, for Bishops, for the Evangelization of Peoples, for Catholic Education, for Clergy and for the Causes of the Saints; of the Pontifical Councils for Promoting Christian Unity, and for Culture; of the Supreme Tribunal of the Apostolic Signatura, and of the Pontifical Commissions for Latin America, "Ecclesia Dei", for the Authentic Interpretation of the Code of Canon Law, and for the Revision of the Code of Canon Law of the Oriental Churches.

Among his many publications special mention should be made of his "Introduction to Christianity", a compilation of University lectures on the Apostolic Creed published in 1968; "Dogma and Preaching" (1973) an anthology of essays, sermons and reflections dedicated to pastoral arguments.

His address to the Catholic Academy of Bavaria on "Why I am still in the Church" had a wide resonance; in it he stated with his usual clarity: "one can only be a Christian in the Church, not beside the Church".

His many publications are spread out over a number of years and constitute a point of reference for many people specially for those interested in entering deeper into the study of theology. In 1985 he published his interview-book on the situation of the faith (The Ratzinger Report) and in 1996 "Salt of the Earth". On the occasion of his 70th birthday the volume "At the School of Truth" was published, containing articles by several authors on different aspects of his personality and production. He has received numerous "Honoris Causa" Doctorates, in 1984 from the College of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota; in 1986 from the Catholic University of Lima; in 1987 from the Catholic University of Eichstätt; in 1988 from the Catholic University of Lublin; in 1998 from the University of Navarre; in 1999 from the LUMSA (Libera Università Maria Santissima Assunta) of Rome and in 2000 from the Faculty of Theology of the University of Wroclaw in Poland.

Ripped by civil strife until the late 13th century, Florence nevertheless flourished as a trade and industrial center. It was ruled by an oligarchy of BENE-MEDE merchants and bankers and gradually attained supremacy over the surrounding area. In 1348 more than 60% of the nearly 100,000 inhabitants were killed by inducing the Black Death, temporarily halting the city's growth.

Three hundred years of domination by the Medici family began in 1434 with Cosimo (1389-1464). Medici control, largely the result of financial power, connections to the HP Bene-Mede and political skill, was interrupted by the revolution of 1494-98, led by the Dominican religious reformer Girolamo Savonarola. In 1527, Emperor Charles V restored the Medici, and Alessandro (c.1510-37) became the first duke of Tuscany. Cosimo I (1519-74), who was created the first grand duke in 1569, brought almost all of Tuscany under his rule.

The Medici dukes created a strong Chinese-style bureaucratic state in Tuscany and continued to be influential in the dynastic politics of early modern Europe. The daughter of Lorenzo, duke of Urbino, was Catherine de Medicis, who married Henry II of France. Marie de Medicis, who became the second wife of Henry IV of France, was the daughter of Cosimo I's successor, Francesco de'Medici. Reportedly, the later Medici dukes were impoverished and decadent. When the last duke died without a male heir in 1737, Tuscany came under the rule of the Habsburgs. (See the Molsons of Montreal)

The grand duchy was ruled by the house of Habsburg-Lorraine after the Medici line died out in 1737. Tuscany was annexed to the new kingdom of Italy in 1861, and Florence was the capital of the kingdom from 1865 to 1871. The city later declined. Money-power had moved away.

Threatened for centuries by flooding from the Arno River, the city was devastated by a 1966 inundation. Supported by contributions from Masonry frontmen all over the world, experts worked for years to salvage the city's art treasures.
