ANALYSIS and COMMENT Questions August 2, 2000 Dear Glen, I have read a great deal in an effort to put all the pieces together. I discovered amaz- ing facts that the vast majority have no knowledge of, and would never believe. I found out how isolating it can be and what a burden on the spirit it can be. We talked by phone last evening and I told you I was sending the enclosed letter. As | have mentioned I don't expect a personal reply — I know you’re very busy and also I would far sooner see expanded explanations and questions answered in your paper for all to see. I have never been a proactive activist on the scale that you have been. Ok I have written my share of letters to the editor, briefs and submissions to government and that sort of thing — all for the most parta meaningless spit into the wind. Most of all I have tried to communicate what |! have learned to others, verbally. You mentioned the possibility of responses from Meighen as well — I am quite happy with that idea and look forward to talking to her anytime. | have put a lot of time and effort into studying your work as others have as well, and you mentioned that the work- shops are essential. I hope you will continue to demonstrate as much patience as you can to those of us who are making an effort to catch up. As you know, most people don’t want to hear It. 1 hope that you will bear with me as I attempt to develop my thoughts and pass them on to you — I want to know the truth at every level — that is where I’m coming from.
