Le haa heen held since his arrest following the 1995 Gustafson Lake, British Columbia, “Native” Standoff, on September 138, 1995. Wolverine, also known as Jonesy to his friends, had been acquitted of the charge of Attempted Murder by a jury, following a ten months trial in 1996-97. Not happy with the verdict of the jury, the Mason judge, B. Josephson, obviously following directives that he received from his secretive Freemason Lodge, sentenced Jonesy on a minor weapons conviction as if he had been found guilty of the much more serious attempted murder charge. At almost the same time, an Ontario Provincial Policeman shot and killed an unarmed native, Dudley George, at Ipperwash. In Jonesy’s case he had shot at six of eight tires supporting an 18 ton military Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC) that was attempting to run him down and kill him. The OPP officer on the other hand, shot at a native owned school bus and killed the unarmed Dudley George. The officer was later sentenced to serve a few hours (180?) of “community service time”.
